A 14-day scientific expedition to Lake Linumunsut in the northern part of Maliau Basin was held from October 15 to 28, 2001. 60 participants consisting of Maliau project staff and personnel from other relevant organizations took part to study the geomorphology, hydrology, limnology, flora, fauna and eco-tourism potential of the area. A feature documentary in the form of a CD-Rom and scientific reports are envisaged to be produced later in 2002.
